The heat in my house has been wonky lately. One of the pipe loops for the upstairs (which serves my bedroom, natch) has not been circulating water. So today, my dad and I went to do battle with the plumbing daemons.

We went and changed out a valve in the heating system of the house. Two trips to Lowes and I got doused with nasty black/brown water when I cut a pipe that I *thought* was all drained out.

Anyway....

It is, I think, a draw.

The system is put back together, and it is only leaking a little bit. Hot water is coming out of the faucets, and I hear the pipes creaking upstairs as the hot water is flowing through them. I've got a five gallon bucket under the drip, and I'll go check it in an hour to see how much water has accumulated.

Not how I wanted to spend the first day of a four day holiday.
Next task. Install the second video card and monitor in my computer. Wish me luck.
