Capping a nasty weekend

dalesqlJust to add some insult to everything else that Murphy tossed at me the past couple weeks. I had a crown fall out of my mouth this evening at the NESFA halloween party. After I put my car into the repair shop friday, and once they went through the whole list, the estimate is 5-7 hundred bucks. So, add in whatever the dental repairs are gonna cost tomorrow. yay. not.

Date: 2011-10-31 02:26 am (UTC)The Cadillac's alternator seized on my and took out all four belts. So it needed to be replaced, as well as a couple of other service items (power steering flush due to lack of fluid due to running without pump; radiator hoses and flush due to running without fan due to no belts causing mild overheat; transmission system flush - because it needed it). All told just under a grand in auto work... thankfully I paid less than three grand for the car and really enjoy driving it.
Sorry to hear about the crown, dental repair is never fun.
