Capping a nasty weekend
Just to add some insult to everything else that Murphy tossed at me the past couple weeks. I had a crown fall out of my mouth this evening at the NESFA halloween party. After I put my car into the repair shop friday, and once they went through the whole list, the estimate is 5-7 hundred bucks. So, add in whatever the dental repairs are gonna cost tomorrow. yay. not.

The Cadillac's alternator seized on my and took out all four belts. So it needed to be replaced, as well as a couple of other service items (power steering flush due to lack of fluid due to running without pump; radiator hoses and flush due to running without fan due to no belts causing mild overheat; transmission system flush - because it needed it). All told just under a grand in auto work... thankfully I paid less than three grand for the car and really enjoy driving it.
Sorry to hear about the crown, dental repair is never fun.
