NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SNOW IN OCTOBER!!! At least, not more than a dusting.
The noreaster has been raining all day. Changed over to slush about an hour ago, now it's wet snow falling down, and the lawn is completely covered with white shit. I anticipate a power failure, as the treas are still full of leaves to catch the snow and weigh them down onto the power lines.
I got the generator, and a fresh tank of gasoline for it. Hopefully I won't need to go out and get it going tonight.
And the sinus infection, despite thrice a day asaults of amoxacillian, has settled into my chest to make me cough. And the leg pain and weakness is still there, as bad as it has been during the week. Hope a weekend of rest will see me healthy on Monday.

Date: 2011-10-30 01:35 am (UTC)Looking out the window, I see 2-3 inches already, and the weather-guessers map on the TV has my home in the 3-9 inches zone, and the border of the 8-12 inch zone is only about ten miles west from home. Not to disregard heavy gusty winds peaking around 50 MPH. in excess of 100K homes without power already reported, halfway through the snow phase.
I suspect that the anti-wall street tent encampment will be a real mess by the morning. Showing up just how many of their people are fair-weather supporters.
