Heading for Bangor Tuesday.

Driving up to Bangor tuesday evening after work. Will be working on the American Folk Festival on the bangor waterfront. www.americanfolkfestival.com Anyone in the Bangor area who wants to say hi, just come on by the operations compound and if I'm not there, someone can call me on the radio. heading back home on monday. Hope to see folks up there, and get them involved in festiving!

Have fun up at the festival, I won't be able to go up and wacth the going's on this year. I'm supposed to be attending some training of the tacti-cool varity for work on saturday.

I know you said yopu can't stop but that offer for some pier fries still stands on tuesday :)

I'd like to try these pier fries, but the timing just doesn't work for me. Don't have enough vacation time from work for the festivals I'm doing this year. Bangor next weekend, Richmond, VA in october. next year the national Folk Festival will be in Butte, Montana, on Anthrocon weekend. *sighs*

Maybe next time you have a gathering at your place I'll try them. I'll come up on friday evening so I don't lose half of saturday to sleep and traveling. I'll bring boomsticks of my own to share.

Oh well as say, maybe next time :(. I hope you have a good time in Bangor over the week but I'll caution you to bring a good sleeping bag and some warm clothes, they're calling for an early frost this week. I also hope you enjoy Montana, I haven't been to Butte but I did fight some fires in the Hungry Horse area, and I've also been to Kalispell. It's a really pretty hunk of realestate, but where we were at, you either walked along the flat canyon floor, or you were climbing 50% + grades to get up the hills. On a side note the area we were in at Hungry Horse was used to flim alot of the water bomber scenes from the movie "Always".

I'm thinking that Butte is not going to be in my cards. Too far away, not enough vacation time from the day job, and it conflicts with anthrocon. I'll still work on Lowell, Bangor and Richmond, as long as they keep covering my expenses.
