Spring continues to sprong.
Apr. 14th, 2015 11:03 pmSo, evil tax day is tomorrow. after much hassle (mostly with getting my printer to work to print out the myriad forms I have to mail in) I have completed all the tax forms, printed them out, signed and dated, wrote the check, and put them into the envelope ready to be posted tomorrow to the evil gnomes of the taxachusetts department of revenue. I'm getting a small refund on my federal taxes, and efile was free for federal, that got sent in via e-file.
Yesterday morning, there was only one small patch of snow left around the house, and it was gone when I left for work this morning. So Winter is finally over at my house. Hurrah! Time to put the snowblower away for the summer, and get the lawnmower out for the summer.
My dad's condition is still poor. The UTI is kicking his butt, and he is accumulating fluids in and around his lungs and is in "minimal CHF", so need to manage that better. Back on nothing by mouth, so all nutrition via the stomach tube. I hope his condition improves, but it's hard to keep optimistic sometimes.
Had a nice furmeet on saturday up at the Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham, NH. They have a bunch of pinball and video games from the 70s and 80s. But no Tank Commander game. *pouts* The pizza place next door is also extremely good.
