Stay-at-homecon

Many of my friends are off at Anthrocon which is happening as I type this, in a state far far away.    This weekend, my plans include doing the laundry, and helping my dad work on the removal of, and repair of the damage from the carpenter ant infestation we found in the back wall of the house.   We are still at the stage of removing the siding and finding the extent of the damage.    So far, a swath about ten feet across and six foot tall is bad, and the bottom of the picture window in the living room.     This also explains why that corner of the house has  been sagging down.   I had thought it was from the foundation settling.
