If it's not one thing, it's another.

Spent a semiproductive day in the boom lift today, took half a day off from work to work on the house. Ripped out a bunch of rotten lumber from the back of the house. So far, none of the rot has spread into the structure of the house, so that is a good thing. turns out we are keeping the boom lift for another two weeks, so will have time to do more work on the house with the lift, saving me from lots of trips up and down ladders.

Yesterday I was in for my next dental appointment for the crown. Mouthful of purple goo is not fun. The temporary the dentist put on until the real crown is done popped out eating supper tonight. So gonna have an annoying gap in my mouth until I go for the final in a couple weeks. This doesn't count as a dental emergency under my insurance, so gonna go buy a tube of polident and stick the thing back on each morning. Yay.

This weekend is Anime boston. I'll be dealing blackjack in the game room (Constitution ballroom in the Sheraton hotel) saturday evening and sunday afternoon. Hope to see some friendly faces there.

Got jury duty in a couple weeks. I wonder if I can bring my laptop with me to use while I'm in the waiting room? Otherwise, some books to read.
