One year ago today.

I got the phone call at work that our home was on fire. It's been a busy year, full of frustration and bad stuff. But repairs are underway, just have to find all the money needed, since the insurance company is a bunch of evil cheapskates.

Do you have a sense of when the repairs will be done, or is knowing that too likely to be an exercise in futility?

I'm sorry the insurance company took forever and a day to handle the claim, and that they caused so much annoyance and frustration along the way.

Hard year. Hard, hard year. Here's hoping the house stuff gets steadily better from here. Likewise for grief recovery and other aspects of life, too.

Current estimate is early july. But no doubt murphy will pay a visit to delay things.
