I'm bad to the bone...

dalesqlThe jawbone that is. Went back to the dentist for the other root canal. the one he found following up from the didn't really need a root canal after all so I just got a medicated filling instead.
now I'm home feeling very sorry for myself, and eating motrin.
It was a back tooth, hard to reach. the tooth had tilted also. I have impossibly deep roots, and the roots on this tooth are kinda helical, not straight like normal. and they are occluded (blocked) according to the xray. So the the dentist scheduled me for two hours, instead of the normal 90 minutes.
Two hours in the chair later, the dentist says. "all done for today."
"today?" I ask.
"Yup. You have really bad roots deep into the jawbone. I got two of them done all the way down to the tips, which I wasn't sure was possible.. I'll get the others next appointment. "
"lovely..." Sez I.
And had to leave another couple hundred dollars at the front desk, to pay for the part that the insurance doesn't cover.
Follow up appointment, the tuesday before FurFright, so I'm sure I'm gonna be feeling my best and having fun at the con.
