My parents are still unwell, but are slowly getting more healthy. they still don't feel up to driving, but I figure that dad will be able to drive in a week or two. Messy medical details omitted. My sister is coming in from Seattle on tuesday, will be home for ten days or so to help mom & dad with daily living stuff. Probably getting in a cleaning service to come in and do some housecleaning every week or two.

Summer is drifting to an end. My desire to get in a walk in the park most days on the way home from work has fallen more or less off my schedule. Once Vicki is here, I hope that I can start them back up again.

next weekend is the columbus day holiday weekend. No particular plans, other than vague thoughts about topsfield fair. Weekend after that is a furmeet at king richard's faire, which I plan to attend, work schedule permitting. Halloween weekend is FurFright, which I plan to attend for saturday and sunday, again work schedule permitting.

Next weekend is Albacon! All you have to do is come here. I don't recall where you are, but you're probably thousands of miles away. So you need to get the airplane tickets soon! :)

Boston area, and Albacon is about a 4 hour drive each way. Had considered going, but cost of gas plus hotel room and meals was a bit much. Back when I made a lot more money than I do now, I went out regularly. Now, it was one of the cons I just couldn't afford anymore. And I'm hoping to get some overtime gigs from work that weekend.
