Scientists in Bornea have photographed a species of ground squirrel that apparantly hunt the local deer population as part of their diet.    The MO is that they perch on a low branch over a trail, and when the deer walks underneath, they leap down and slice open the juglar vein.  Once the deer bleeds out, they chew open the belly and eat some of the internal organs of the deer.

Color me slightly boggled.
