Dad getting better.

Took dad to the gastroenterology surgeon this morning and they took the stomach tube out. yay! No problems with surgery. After surgery, we rolled up to the ward where he spent most of the winter and dropped off some gifts for the nursing staff. Some of the staff there remembered him and were happy to see him looking so much better. Then to the hospital cafeteria for a late breakfast for us both. Brought him back home and got into work just in time for lunch break.

So, last barrier down that would keep me from going to Maine for the festival. Yay!
