So, we had another 18 inches or so of snow today. WOrk was closed, I've got a cold. So I stayed home and hard-boiled the eggs for the boskone con suite. 75 dozen eggs are now hard boiled and out in the porch, where if they freeze, it's okay.
My brother took my mom over to visit my dad at the hospital. I have a cold, so not gonna share that with him. They moved him from the ICU back to the regular ward, his lung function is better, the clot seems to have broken up, so they can taper him off the anticoagulants. He's getting the antibiotics for the Lyme disease, and mom said he was talking to the nurses, but by the time they got to see him, he was fast asleep.
The governor just declared the offical state of emergency, and announced that nonessential state employees should stay home tomorrow too. I'm half expecting for work to be closed or have a late start tomorrow.
Wednesday night is truck loading for Boskone, thursday afternoon we load in to the hotel. There is another snowstorm expected thursday. Does not bode well.
