I had a busy Saturday, but all in all, quite enjoyable.

First up was a drive north to the bank that I got my auto loan from to make the final payment. They should be mailing me the title and closure paperwork in a couple weeks, glad to get that paid off.

Then the drive south to King Richard's Faire for Danruk's annual visit. This put the odometer over a hundred miles for the day. The weather was nice, warm and sunny, with enough of a breeze to keep the flies off and cool us off. Humidity was a bit high, and I was checking the weather app on my phone keeping an eye on the cold front that was heading that way. But I visited many booths, chatted with a bunch of friends I hadn't seen in a while, and didn't spend a huge amount of money. Admission is 29 bucks for an adult, two dollars more if you bought the ticket online. Cash only at the fairgrounds. Twenty bucks worth of food coupons also, and used them all.

Once the faire closed, we all proceeded to Danruk's place where food was grilled and his parents put out a tremendous spread of delicious foods. More fine conversation and fellowship there, and we watched mother nature's fireworks passing north of us as the storms were pummeling plymouth county. I was almost two hours away from home at this point, so I left relatively early.

The drive home took me through some fairly intense rain, but the heavy wind and thundercells were never close to where I was as I drove back home. So the time in the rain did slow me down, but was otherwise unexciting. and bonus! Washed the car too.

Today, NESFA business meeting and Boskone space allocation meeting. Not nearly as much fun.
