Happy Turkey day.
Nov. 23rd, 2006 01:10 pmHome here today. It's rainy and windy so I'm kinda glad I don't have to rravel to big family gathering. All my siblings, and their spouses and kids happened to be going to the spouses's big family gathering in other states. So just me and my parents. Smallest turkey we could find was 21 pounds, so I foresee a *lot* of turkey everything for meals the rest of the long weekend.
I'm planning on going to see Happy Feet tomorrow at the IMAX theater in Natick. Who can resist 30 foot tall dancing penguins? Not planning any shopping for black friday, although I probbaly will think of some last minute thing to get since I'll be over in the golden mile anyway.
Just went down and helped dad lift the turkey out of the oven and move it over to the serving dish. smells juuuusst wooooonnnderful... *drools* Happy thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it. For the rest of you. . . Leftover turkey is yummy.
