Rediscovering old friends.

I've been home with a sore back and shoulder the last few days, eating a lot of ibuprofen and being a couch potato. Got the Warner Brother's Golden Collections of looney toons. Rabbit of Seville, Duck Dodgers, Coyote and the
road runner, Tweety, Daffy, Pepe, Speedy, and many others. Lots of good stuff, and they have restored them all to original color and length as much as they could. The commentaries and featurettes were pretty interesting as well.
Stan Freberg's first screen credit as well.
The other old video friend I rediscovered was the movie The Princess Bride. I had forgotten just how many of our modern pop culture catch phrases came from that movie. "My name is Inigo Montoya... " "Have fun storming the castle!",
and many more. Great good fun.
