Life's little annoyances.
Dec. 5th, 2005 07:00 pmUgh. It's been a week of minor annoyances and inconveniences. It snowed here in boston, bringing rather forcefully to my notice that the tires on my car are worn down pretty smooth. New tires are $136..... each. *owtch*
Friday I pinched a nerve in my shoulder, so I've got pain shooting down my arm that gets worse the longer I stay still or assume certain positions. This means that the last two nights, I've woken up in the middle of the night a couple of times, from rolling over onto my arm, or just the motrin wearing off. Then I managed to pick up a back spasm on sunday, from lifting a box full of cables that were too damn heavy. If this runs true to form, I'll be pretty much bedridden for the next couple of days. At least I'm already taking motrin for my shoulder.
I do have a holiday gift for chris goodwin. Chris, I need your new address so I can send it to you. I saw it and immediately knew that I had to get you one. I'm also going to give it to another friend who has a wicked warped sense of humor. Still need to find holiday gifts for my assorted niecelings and nephews. What do kids like nowadays that are not too expensive?
