Heya, yes getting shot would suck but it often its not fatal. Statistics used to say across violent firearm encounters, not suicides/accidents/etc, average rounds fired was 3, 20% involved injury and 2% of injuries were fatal. Knives used for violence had 95% injury rate and 60% fatality. The real issue is folks like myself, law abiding people across the state, are being told they are now criminals, who followed the rules and now, are in violation of the law. The principle of this action by the DA is what's really important here. The action, if allowed, says that a states district attorney, can without deliberation or due legislative process, can enact and enforce laws at will in violation of Article 1, section 1 of the US constitution. To have someone, one person unilaterally be able to say, something like 'being gay is now illegal' and have that be enforceable, that's not how a constitutional republic works, what she is doing is violating the most basic tenant of this country.
