Another voice of my childhood silenced.

Just heard the news that Dale Dorman, who's morning radio show on WRKO in Boston started nearly every day of my childhood, died this week after a long illness. I never met him, just listened to him talk and spin records on the different radio shows around Boston. Haven't heard him on the air in a few year now. But I will miss him, as he was an important part of my childhood. No doubt he is being scheduled for an air shift on afterlife radio right now.

Uncle Dale is dead! :-(
I remember his perpetually upbeat and gleeful announcements for the cartoons on Saturday morning.

I didn't even know he had a last name till the late 90s.
