Dad back in the hospital.
Mar. 17th, 2015 10:06 pmSo, my dad is back in the hospital again. It's not at all clear to me what happened today at the nursing home with him, but the ER admitted him for it. I didn't get to the ER until a couple hours after the ambulance took him over, so never talked to the ER doc. But the ER was swamped with patients at the time, they had patients in gurneys in the hallways, so I'm not gonna get upset about that.
Dropped off my brother Wes at the airport this morning for his flight back to his home in seattle. Hopefully my mom will be able to get someone from the church to give her a ride over to the hospital to visit dad tomorrow. Otherwise I'll have to lose worktime for that.
I'm not very happy with the care, or lack thereof, that the nursing home is providing. They are not feeding him real food with the speech therapist like they are supposed to, and they keep asking mom to authorize sedatives for him, which would sabotoge any progress he is making on the memory front.
Ugh.
