Achievement unlocked: Disco whirlpool

After much effort (Mostly by my brother Wes, visiting from the left coast) we got the walk in bathtub installed and operational in the first floor bathroom. I was quite surprised that it came with a light, and the light is a collection of different colored LEDs that go through a color changing cycle. So I have dubbed it The Disco Whirlpool. It also has air and water pumps and a door that can be opened when it is empty so you can walk in and out without stepping over the edge. Quite the fancy thing.

Now need to finish all the trim bits, do some tilework, put up a backsplash, seal up all the cracks and crevices, and put a new door on the bathroom. (In order to fit the tub into the bathroom, the door had to be widened by about six inches. So it was widened with extreme prejudice and a sawzall. The door from the front hall leading to the bathroom only needed to be four inches wider, so it and the frame can be reinstalled. )

Oh yeah, patch up the holes we cut in the basement ceiling to put in the plumbing.
