Christmas eve and happy new year to all.

It's raining here in metrowest boston. Weather-guessers are saying temps in the 60s tomorrow. So a white christmas will only be happening in store displays and the like around here.

Got family dinner and so on tomorrow, at my brother's place. I'll bring my new laserpointers and see if their cats will play pounce the dot with me. Boxing day is closed at work, so I'm not sure what I'm doing for the weekend. No doubt mom has plans for me, but hope to get out and do some socializing.

No plans set for new years yet. anyone around boston want to go do first night with me?

I'll be attending arisia in january, dealing blackjack in the game room saturday afternoon. No tournament this year, after a lot of hassle last year with a couple players who were more into win at any cost, instead of just playing for fun.

February brings us Boskone and Anthro New England, on the weekends of the 13th and the 28th respectively. I'm running the con suite for Boskone again. Anyone who would like to help me run the con suite, I can get you a free membership for the weekend. No particular plans for ANE, other than attending.

My year was generally good. Had a health scare with my dad's Alzheimers taking a noticeable step for the worse recently, for no discernible cause. Mom is still depressed, and her new psychologist is adjusting her meds, which is always a slow process to find a new balance.
