Update.

Things continue to get better on the Mom & Dad health front. We got a visiting nurse that comes in three days a week to do dad's blood test and check on Mom & Dad general health. Mom has had an eye infection, and a week of antibiotic ointment wasn't clearing it up. Mom went to an eye doctor, and was diagnosed with an infected cornea, and she also has a tiny cataract. So mom got a new different eye antibiotic, and strict orders on infection control to keep the infection from spreading to the other eye.

Work is work, and no real changes there. It's getting into Nutcracker season, so I expect we will be getting a good bounce from that as usual. I'm busy refurbishing pin spot bars. Such excitement.

I've been watching on PBS the series on the Big Apple Circus. This had a little more personal connection for me, as I interviewed with them for a job when they were in Boston. While I was waiting for them to get back to me, I also interviewed for the job I currently hold. Big Apple called me back with a job offer a couple hours after I had the interview with ALPS. I called ALPS and told them I had just gotten another job offer, and were they seriously considering me? AN hour later, I got the call from ALPS. Obviously, I took the ALPS job, but every so often I wonder what it would have been like if I'd gone with the circus. I did recognize the faces of the folks who interviewed me on the CIRCUS show, and if I'd taken the circus job, I'd be one of those tech folks in the crew they don't pay much attention too.
