Joining the HDTV generation.

well, finally went and got a HD television set. The old set was working fine until friday, when unexpectedly, the picture scrunched down about two inches high across the entire width of the screen. resolved to go shopping saturday, but saturday morning the picture popped back up to normal resolution, for half the day. Then it scrunched back down again. So last night, my dad and I went shopping. looked at TVs at sears, radio shack, target, wallyworld and BJs. BJs had the best price by about 30 bucks and that's where we got it. 32 inch Vizio. It was also nice to have a TV light enough that I could pick it up myself. got the old one out, where it's now sitting on the corner of the room until we toss it out, put the new one it and it works fine. gotta call the cable company now and upgrade to a HD cable box. Whooo hoo...
