My TV habit.
Jul. 19th, 2008 09:26 pmI got FIOS a few months back, and got in our house for the firet time, cable TV. I thought I'd spend a lot of time witching the Sci-fi channel, but whenever I turn to it, I'm not really interested. I was, as expected, hooked hard on Mythbusters. So mostly I watch discovory, history, and some of the military channel shows. But I still watch PBS.
A couple weeks ago, to my delight, I saw an ad for a new episode of Foyle's War. I'm not normally a fan of detective shows, but this one just really got me hooked. Wonderful english characters, set in a small town in WW2 england. This episode is set in 44, and they have all the details right, and great stories, characters, acting and everything. The nitpickers online are down to criticising very minor errors in military uniforms and suchlike. Great good stuff, highly reccomended.
