Boston for first night!
Dec. 29th, 2007 06:18 pmI don't want to do First Night by myself, it's lots more fun with a friend or five, so I'm looking for someone who wants to go tromp around Boston on New Years eve.
Generally I start at the Hynes in the afternoon, with lots of fun stuff there. Once that gets boring, a walk down the street to Copley square, to view ice sculptures and eat fried dough with lots of butter and sweet stuff. Continuing down the street to the Common, stopping for some early dinner along the way, if the mood strikes. Watch the parade when it comes past. then over to the Common to look at ice sculptures, and watch the early fireworks. After that, whatever looks interesting.
Come on!
