E-mail problems.
Apr. 9th, 2007 09:20 pmI'm having E-mail problems. Both of the e-mail addresses I use, cybercom and earthlink, their e-mail servers apparantly are down since sometime sunday. When I send test messages to myself, they go out, but they don't come back. ANyone know about any viruses or whatnot that are screwing up e-mail in general?
It could, of course, be a misconfiguration of my machine at home, but goign to the web interface for my e-mail gets me a web site not found error.
*edit*
Fixed part of it. My daledotty{lastnamenocaps}atmindspringdotterycommercial address is now working. Misconfiguration in my account settings up there. autoforwarding to my currently down, cybercom address got turned on somehow.
Finally got through on the phone to cybercom. they are busily working on the server, ETR sometime late tonight. When I suggested putting up a current status message on their web page, the phone person said "I never thought of that". *sighs*
*Edit again, tuesday evening. *
Got all my mail, including the dozen or so test messages. 982 unread e-mails.... There goes my evening.....
