When it rains, it pours.
Nov. 7th, 2005 01:59 pmLIfe has been busy this last two months.
FIrst my laptop gets a major case of bit rot, making it unstable.
THen my car gets totaled and I get about 1/3rd of the book value from the insurance company. My Dad's car, which I was going to borrow while the insurance company wasn't paying for my rental car, broke down with a bad alternator. Then my mom's car made the bad grinding noises, and it's in the shop right now for $2k worth of new transmission. The only semi-bright spot was that I was working a lot, and I did find a replacement car that doesn't seem like a lemon. * Crosses fingers * Dad is out in Seattle helping my brother finish off building his deck. Now this.....
Doctor's office called with the test results for my mom's physical on Friday. She has cancer in her nose. *sighs* Scheduling surgery and followup appointments now. Merry fucking Christmas.
