No job is much fun when the management doesn't do it's job.It sounds like the management was failing in several ways there. I've heard that the indian reservation casinos can legally racially discriminate against non-indians, and a lot of them do. Which would make any non-indian worker not want to stay there. I'm sorry you got crapped on by the job. I hope things are better now.
The instructor did warn us about how some folks who were great dealers would get promoted and turned out to be lousy supervisors. I've worked for a few of them over the years, and I was one of them at one job. But I learned my lesson and now avoid management positions.
