I'm okay.

Tornados came through Mass this afternoon. Fortunately, none of them came near me or my home or my workplace. Dodged that bullet. The pictures from western Mass are pretty scary. I hope nobody got killed, and nobody got badly injured.

One death has been reported. I've seen it attributed to being in West Springfield with various reports of a tree landing on a car with someone inside, a car overturned, a teenager killed by the tornado (reported by the teen's cousin), etc. Multiple injuries, some reported as severe.

Prayers to all. Glad none of this afternoon's tornadoes came near you, and I hope reports of another line of storms coming up I-84 don't add to the mess already on the ground.

There were what?

That... might explain why there was some hail earlier and the sky was a deep orange color most of the day!

I somehow completely missed this. Go, powers of observation.

So, a couple fatalities reported, and a bunch of injuries. No doubt there will be lots of missing person's needing to be tracked down to cross them off the list of people they need to search for in the various wreckage piles.

I didn't personally experience anything more than a fairly severe thunderstorm while I was at the nesfa clubhouse this evening. Home now, reading e-mail before I go to sleep.
