Busy October.

It's been a busy month. Was down in richmond, VA working on the National Folk festival till the 11th. It rained during the festival, of course, breaking a months long drought. Took the overnight train back home to Boston. The day I got home I had a shift of work, and had work every day for one show or another till two days ago.
For folks collecting celeberty lists, I worked a Rod Stewart concert and a Jeff Foxworthy show.
While driving home from work I wrecked my car. Stopped in traffic in Boston and this women driving a suburban assault vehicle unexpectedly decided to back up, smashing my headlight and all the sheet metal on the nose of the car. Nobody hurt, and her car looked like it didn't get anything other than some scratches on the bumper. *sighs*
Since blue book for an 88 civic is pretty small, I'm expecting the insurance company to total it. Anyone near Boston who has an inexpensive used car for sale right now, I'm interested. Her insurance company is paying for a rental car for now, but I don't expect that to last very long.
If they total it, I may keep it and try to just fix the damage myself, bending back the
metal and replacing the smashed headlight and the broken hinge on the hood. Car is still
drivable, during the daylight. Or not.

Erg, good luck with the car thing... we had some moron back into the car in a parking lot this summer, but they missed the headlight so the car was still driveable etc. No damage to their car, of course... they were driving a big ole tank. Grr :)
