Bad day at work.

Not me, but something I saw in the parking lot as I was leaving work to go home.

In the other part of the building I work in, is a armored car depot. Their vehicles drive into a fully enclosed loading dock that is secured by guys with guns and heavy steel doors. They also get frequent visits from other armored car companies. They don't get to go into the enclosed loading dock, so they have to go to another loading dock around back that happens to be next to our back door.

So I am going out the back door and see another companies armored truck parked by the loading dock, and the two guards standing next to it, conversing on their cell phones with someone. I wave and say hi as I walk past to get to my car. Once I get to my car, I realize I forgot something and head back inside. One of them tells the other something to the effect that the mechanic is on the way as I go back inside.

Back out a minute or two later, and they are still standing around the truck looking frustrated. I ask them, "Truck break down?"

"Nope. Locked the keys inside. " one replies.

Bad day at work, and even worse, it makes a memorable story to be teased about for a long time.
