Snowmageddon 2014

Well, first major snowstorm of the year. WOke up and there is strong wind and blowing and drifting snow and single digit temperatures outside. Looks like about 12 inches of snow, but it's hard to really say with the drifting, there is about 30 inches against the outside door, hopefully only a few inches on the walk and driveway.
WOrk already told us that they are not opening until noon, so I slept in a bit, and I'm procrastinating going out as I hope the wind will die down before I go fire up the snowblower. Weather folks are warning against frostbite and so on. Tempted to just stay home the whole day, but I still gotta go out and move snow. I really want to stay in bed all day. *laughs* But life does go on.
Another storm forecast for sunday, and then on monday, temps in the 50s. Hurray global warming!
