Ugh.... root canal acomplished.
Oct. 25th, 2012 08:28 pmWent back to the dentist for part deux of the root canal from hell. Part the first took two hours in the chair, and he only got the first root done. today, another two hours in the chair. (three hours at the dentist today) and he finished the other roots and left things ready for the preparation for the crown. Afterwards, we were chatting about how neither of us wanted to see each other again, and how he now had another case study for a 'Patients you never want to see in your practice' presentation. He did need the extra long drills for my roots, the ones he ordered out of the veterinary dental catalog, because the ones made for humans were not long enough.
So, back to my regular dentist now for her to do the crown thing. I'm home now, doing laundry and hoping that the pain pills I got will do their thing tonight, and that tomorrow, I will be healed enough that I don't need narcotics for the pain. Because in the morning, I'm driving down to sunny Cromwell, CT to attend http://www.furfright.org this weekend. I'll be hanging out mostly around the game room. Dealing for the blackjack tournament friday evening. Vorefurs gathering of some sort will be attended. having fun is the primary goal. Will be staying in an overflow hotel down the street, so should be quiet sleeping.
Monday, the weather-guessers are saying we might be having a perfect storm hammering us. Hurricane coming up from cuba, big winter storm sweeping down from western canada, and a large high pressure over the north atlanrtic to force them to crash together over new england.
