Lowell Folk Festival this weeked.
Jul. 21st, 2010 12:03 amIt's in Lowell, Mass, this friday evening, saturday and sunday. Festival has lots of good and varied musical acts, lots of ethnic food booths, crafty crafters trying to sell you stuff, and dancing at the dance pavilion. The local brewery has a fine line of malt based adult beverages.

I'll be working as a stagehand at the stage in JFK plaza, so if anyone wants to say hi, just go and ask anyone with a crew pass for Dale. I was about to describe my clothes, but everyone working on the stage is gonna be in shorts and a t-shirt, so that's not very helpful.
We also will have access to the city hall bathrooms, for those who don't wish to chance the porta-potties on a hot summer day. Once my stage shuts down on saturday, I am free for socialization and viewing the other stages that are still going. I'll be there much of the day friday with nothing more than checking in at the hotel and the festival on my schedule.
