Christmas Revels

Took my parents in to see the dress rehearsal of The Christmas Revels tonight. www.revels.org HIt a win with the weather being quite nice and warm for december in New England. Another win with finding a free parking space only four blocks from Saunders Theatre. The show was great, only marred by one of the performers falling off the front edge of the stage when he(?) couldn't see out of the elaborate headpiece of the costume and lost his way. Fortunately, he seemed to be alright and walked out with only a little assistance needed. The acrobat in the bear costume was worthy of note, and their take on the Ring Cycle was highly amusing. *I* would have never thought of Groucho Marx either. Dancing in the lobby and singing along with the cast was fun too. Recommeded.
