Arisia lunchmeat 2006!
Dec. 22nd, 2005 05:12 pmJust for every furry in the Boston area, it's the annual New England fur ARISIA lunchmeat!
Lunch on Saturday January 14th. Noontime at the Fire and Ice restaurant in Boston, in the Park Square building. Pay your own way, mongolian barbeque. the all you can eat lunch is about $16 with a soft drink.
We will meet at the Boston Park Plaza hotel, on the mezzanine level, near the information bulletin board at 1145. Noontime we walk over to the resturant.
Held in conjunction, but not affiliated, with Arisia, a science fiction convention. http://www.arisia.org Which is a fun convention to attend anyway.
The closest subway station is Arlington on the green line. Follow the signs in the station for Park Plaza. The Hotel is the one with the reflected swan logo you can see from the subway entrance. the Park square building is the one you walk past to get to the hotel from the subway station.
Parking at the Boston Common Garage is the closest, and is ten bucks or so on saturday. Usually you can buy discount coupons for that garage at the arisia sales table. Street parking is not recommended.
