Just what you all needed, more stress. It's hard enough to have a loved one in the hospital when you're confident the care is good.
I don't have any pertinent legal contacts. On the "fix it as well as it can be fixed now" front, does the hospital have an Ombudsman? It might be good to draw that person/office into the conversation.
