Halfway through the blackjack dealing class. Things are going well. At this point, we know everything we need to know, now it's just a matter of actually dealing and making fewer and fewer mistakes. The classes that were in the previous cycle from mine, most of them went down to the new casino in twin river, RI and got offers. One didn't, as she was nervous and froze up during the audition.
I hear there is a gambling boat that is going to be operating out of Lynn harbor this summer. I hope to get a weekend job with them once I finish the course. Then reassess things in the fall. Maybe take another game course in preparation for the casinos that are coming to mass soon.
