And if these so called assault weapons were used in more than a very very tiny percentage of all the violent criminal assaults, I may be more open to that argument. if they really were in it to save lives, then they should outlaw swimming pools, drowning is often pretty fatal, and claims way more peoples lives each year. Nor is it something I want me or any of my friends to go through.
