It happened again....
*sighs*
Remember last year, when my car was hit by a drunk driver while it was parked at the supermarket? Yup. Same parking lot too. Dad was driving, with my mom, and they were in line at the drive-through for the pharmacy. Guy ahead of them, finished his business with the clerk at the window, put his car into reverse and stepped on the gas. Broke the front grill and headlight assembly, and one tiny little ding on the front edge of the hood. Total estimate is soemthing like 1400 bucks. Have to wait for the other guys insurance company to do their thing before it gets fixed.
But, until then, the car is drivable, just that one of the headlights has a really wierd beam pattern now because of the broken reflector. So, It's moslty just an annoyance. This happened, of course, the day my sister flew in from seattle to be here for the holidays. Happy merry everyone.
Oh yeah, come to my party on saturday. 6pm, NESFA clubhouse in somerville. Bring some food to share.
