Off to Richmond, VA.
I leave in about half an hour to catch the train to Richmond, VA. I'm working on the national Folk Festival that is being held down there next weekend (14th) Since my laptop is horses-de-combat, I don't know if or how I'll be getting email or readiong LJ down there. I don't have a cell phone, so that is out too. It's like I'm back in the 80s.
ANyone down in that vicinity who would like to come and say hi. I'll be at the Tredagar Iron Works site in Richmond, on the sunny banks of the James River. Look for the operations compound, with all the trailers on it. ( the rest of the year it pretends to be a helipad) Corner of 5th and Tredegar streets, look for the National Park Service signs for the parking area.
Back home on the 17th, no doubt to have thousands of unread spam e-mails to deal with.
